I have always assumed that "on earth as it is in heaven" refers just to "your will be done." But in his book "Surprised by Hope", N.T. Wappropriate writes, "Jesus taught his followers to pray that God"s kingdom would come on earth as in heaven." So he, supposedly, allows the expression refer additionally to the second subprayer.
Are tbelow any indications in the original message that can provide us a clue around which components of the Lord"s Prayer are referred to by "on earth as it is in heaven"?

4 As a theological side note, I watch this research as saying for some distinction between what God enables to occur and what He truly desires to take place. The research does not make sense otherwise. That is, God"s sovereignty suggests He has determined things may take place on earth that are versus what He wishes to take place on earth. The repursuit is to bring into alignment what does occur with what He wishes to occur, but the research need to be made bereason it has actually not yet become so.
